Bouchards: On the Road Again
Our time in Wyoming this year was good and we enjoyed all that God had for us, but as with all good things, it has come to an end. We are now on our way to the east coast via Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, Tennessee, Ohio, North Carolina and Virginia.
Over the past few weeks we have packed our house, mailed our luggage, and visited friends and family in Wyoming and Colorado. We have learned that our daughter Emily and her husband will be spending most of August working with Village-2-Village children’s ministry in Serere, Uganda before leaving to teach English in Korea for the next year. We also learned that our daughter Laura was reassigned to Kandahar, Afghanistan in route to Iraq. Brian continues to find his way to independence in North Carolina, and we look forward to spending our last few days in the States with him before we fly out of Washington, DC on August 5th. So over the next year we will be scattered over 4 different continents.
We are enjoying visiting with old friends and reconnecting with so many of you before we leave. We are also looking forward to spending a week with Emily and Tony in Kenya when they finish their time in Uganda before flying back to NC.
It will be much different returning this time without our children, but we still believe that God is calling us to RVA and that he will continue to bless us as we follow His leading. We’d love to see any of you on the other side as well. So if you think you’d like see Kenya, you’re always welcome.
We have learned a great deal this past year and one of the biggest things that are continually reminded of is His faithfulness. As the economy took a major dive this past year our support level remained steady, emphasizing what a great support team we have and God’s leading back to RVA. Thank you to all who have been part of our ministry over the years.
In Jesus,
Alan and Sara
